Post here, and I'll decide whether you should have that ability or not. Don't be upset if I don't accept it though...but I doubt that will happen

Why should you have this ability?: When harry was little and voldemort killed his parents then tried to kill him. Voldemort transfered some of his powers to him including his sepcial abiltiy of talking to snakes.

harry walked down to the lawns glad that it was the weekend. He walked down to the forbidden forest and decided just to wander a bit. He looked around feeling like some one was following him. he looked down at the ground and decided to just lean against the tree. he heard a very weird voice like a hissing kind of voice and turned around to see a snake sliding smoothly across the ground. He could understand what it was saying and actually could talk back to it. he hissed something in parselmouth and watched the snake slither away.

Why do you think your character should have this ability?:Well Sally is based on me a little bit and her mother had it and it past down to the next generation. Sally dose not really tell anyone one and use it responsibly. She also use it for only good and tries to stop anything bad from happing.This is why i think my character should have this ability.

Why should you have this ability?: Draco likes being sneaky. He would use it against his enemies, but he woldn't hurt them too badly. He would just confuse them. He would know their secrets and what not. He would confuse them. Like, he would say something then deny it then say another and deny that too. But what he says would be what's going on in the other person's mind. He would repeat what they think, but outloud.

Rp Sample: Draco was walking down a random corridor. There were a few Gryffindors. He smirked and walked over to them. He was going to have fun messing with their minds. "Hello." Draco said in his innocentest voice. He smirked that the thoughts they were having...

Why should you have this ability?: These magical ablities run in her family as well as seer ablities. She had hopped to get these as she couldn't deal with the dealings of a seer. She got her wish as she now has the same ablities as her father.

Rp Sample: Pansy was sitting at the dinner table one night when she thought she heard something. "Did one of you say something?" she looked at her parents wondering which one had spoke. When both of her parents stared at her in disbelief she about choked on her drink. "What the bloody hell are the two of you staring at?" she asked. Her father quickly recoverred. "Dear do me a favor. What is your mum thinking?" Pansy looked shooked, "how the bloody hell should I....." she trailed off and then her eyes went wide. "She is happy that i have finally discoverred my magical ablity." and with those words her mum squealed with glee and nodded as her father smiled as his only child had gotten his ablities.

Ability:Occulemency and the ability to sense the evil within a slytherin or somebody good who has been taken over by evil.
Why should you have this ability?:It will help her close her mind from slytherins she dosen't want reading her thoughts and Dumbledore gave her the power to feel evil when she was born.if Meleny is wounded while wearing the amulet it can heal her.It serves as a warning sign whenever danger is about.

Rp Sample: Meleny walked down to the lake she stopped when she felt a strange aura she saw two slytherin girls who looked exactly alike.Their aura was just like Voldemort's.Her eyes widened it was the worst thing she ever felt.The amulet currently disguised as a muggle necklace was glowing black.

Why should you have this ability?: Anna always wanted to have this ability. She gone through life being overprotective of ther loved ones for fer of them getting hurt. Having thsi ability will ease her up a bit. This way she would'nt be worrying too much. This'll help her stay calm and assured that if anything does happen, she'll be able to heal them. She's always hated seeing her family or friends hurt.
Rp Sample:

Anna was alerted by the sound of a scream behind her. She turned around, eyes wandering fast, looking for the source. She saw her friend lying in a heap, wincing in pain. She ran with great speed, trying to reach her. She was bleeding from her lower torso and head. She was horrified at the sight. If she didn't do anything now, she was sure her friend wouldn't make it. She's lost too much blood, and had probably gotten infected. Anna hurriedly placed her hands over friends bleeding body. She waited with agitation, willing the process of healing to go faster. After what seemed to her as an eternity, the wounds had disappeared along with most of the blood. She fell back with relief, checking on her friend still. She was still weak, but alive. Anna shuddered at the possibility of what would have happened if she wasn't able to heal.

Why should you have this ability?: Daphne loves snakes, and thinks they are very misunderstood creatures. She owns a pet snake, and dreams of being able to talk to him [along with other snakes] one day. Parseltongue is an odd power to have, which makes her want it even more.
Rp Sample: Daphne was in her room, and she let out her pet snake, named Nelly, from it's cage. She began wrapping around Daphne's arm many times and turned to face the human. All of a sudden Daphne heard what sounded like a mix of hissing and human english. It frightened her, until she realized it was coming from Nelly. Was she actually understanding her snake? She listened to the strange snake language a little longer and attempted to talk parseltongue back.

Ability: Telepathy and Telekinesis

Why should you have this ability?: Telepathy and Telekinesis, the ability to project thoughts or feelings into the mind of others, Telekinesis being able to move objects with your mind, with the concentration of thought. Anna should have this ability because it runs threw her family's blood. Also even though Anna is in Slytherin and people could think she would use this for bad, she knows inside she not all that evil. Telepathy is a very strong power and it is very hard to master and Anna would love to learn to live up to her family's name. The same with Telekinesis. She is very responsible and would NEVER abuse her power. If Anna was going to use her power against someone, it would have to be for a really good reason, for example they are plotting the death of someone she loves or better yet her self.

Rp Sample:
Anna wandered aimlessly, when she quickly stepped inside an empty class room. She scanned the room, looking if there was absolutely anything to do. She frowned to her self and sighed. there was really nothing to do here at Hogwarts, it was quite depressing actually she thought to her self. There was no boy's to fool around with, no poor Gryffindorks to make fun of, and no cat fight to get into. But just Anna's luck this would all change by the end of the day.

She took a seat in one of the desk and gazed out the window. She stared deeply into the almost black sky, threatening to rain any second and thunder. She smiled to her self, if there wasn't anything Anna enjoyed more it was a the rain, she loved to watch, heck she even loved to be in it. Anna walked over to the window placed her right hand gently on it and traced the rain drops path on the window, she looked out to see a flash of light in the distance and to hear the rumbling of the storm coming closer.
As the room darkened, Anna laid down on the window sill facing out on to the grounds, closing her eyes slightly, she listened to the sound of the storm.

Anna had been awaken not from the thunder of the storm but from the thought of an other. She sat up looking at the door, she tried to concentrate harder to find out who the thoughts were coming from. Anna rubbed her templates thing hard, this was one of things she did, she loved the power she had. She brushed her hair away from her eyes, and closed her eyes.

She snapped open her eyes to the sound of the door know turning. She looked at the door slowly opening, she grabbed her wand in a firm grip, a waiting to see who was behind the door....

[So that was an post i had that I really liked, so I was wondering if it was okay, it is on my own site and I can give you link if you need proff or anything like that =) ]

Reason why I should give this to you~ Alysa's family has a long line of powerful witchs and wizards with this power. She has recently just learned about it and been trying to control it since she started school. As she has been getting older, her parents' have been training her. This would help her in her future profession one day as an Auror, to fight againest Voldemort.
RP Example ::required::~ Alysa was walking from the Quidditch pitch when she heard something from behind her. She turned around to see nothing and shrugged it off and kept on walking. A she got closer to the castle, and heard something again. She turned around to see some Slytherins making circles around her, and calling her names. She got fed up with this, and decided to have some fun. 'Silencio' she thought as they all became quiet and their wands coming out and she smirked to herself. 'Expeliarmus' she thought again as all their wands went flying into her hand and her smirk getting bigger. 'Levicorpus' she thought and all of them hung by their ankles. Turning to them, with the smirk still plastered on her face, "Now don't you ever bother me again! Or it will much worse!" she siad as she walked away laughing.

Why should you have this ability?: The gift of being a Seer has been in the Nott family for centuries upon centuries. Normally the girls in their families end up getting it but as Theo had proved from birth he wasn't a regular Nott. From birth Theo could make things happen with just a mere thought and though he didn't understand it then from the minute he knew how to read he vowed to figure out what he believed to be wrong with him but later found out that nothing was truly wrong with him he just had the gift of non-verbal magic. Along with having a curse placed on him that made him feel whatever his sister felt, he had dreams that he couldn't shake that always felt so real and would normally end up happening and with the snap of his fingers anything he wanted was his. Most would kill to have what he had but it wasn't easy to come by... nor was it easy to control.

Rp Sample: The night air held a stiff coldness too it as the soft breeze blew through the air at a slow steady pace. A cry of help could be heard but no one around to hear it, leaving the scream drifting through the air a life being taken without cause, without reason but for the pure fact of just because they could. A childs life was being taken... a unborn child... one that stood no chance to fight back... the mother beaten badly the father no where around. A man in a black cloak stood with their wand pointed at the girl an evil smirk on his lips was the only thing she could see. Darkness surrounded her... Theo shot up off his pilliows and looked around the dark room. Running a shakey hand through his hair he sighed as this wasn't the first time he had this dream. Nor was it any normal dream... he knew it meant more and he was afraid to actually look to see who the girl was because in his heart he had a feeling he knew... Pushing his blankets aside he stood up from bed snapping his fingers and making his robe appear. Something he had been able to do from birth, almost as though it came natural, non-verbal magic had always been at his fingertips. Once he had learned how to control it, it became of great use not only to him but in protecting his sister.

Why should you have this ability?: Lupe' s favorite animal has always been a wolf.She thinks they are beautiful.She would love the chance to get to be her favorite animal for the fun of it or just to escape the stress of life.Not to mention that her name means wolf after all.If she can't be a wolf, then she would like to be a dog.That is pretty close.
Rp Sample: Lupe walked down the hallway toward the grounds.She was glad it was finally Saturday.Everyone else had gone to Hogsmeade for the day, but Lupe remained behind.She had other plans.She walked to the beginning of the forest.She looked around to make sure noone was watching, and she morphed into a grey wolf.She ran through the woods and met up with another of the animals, although this one was real.She had met with her before.The animal looked at Lupe and took off running.Lupe chased after her.This was the usual game.Today would be fun.

Why should you have this ability?: "Well, I was born with the ability to change shapes, so I've trained myself to be able to have full and complete control over myself when in owl form. I use it mostly as a way to de-stress myself. With everything that goes on in my family, and the way we get treated by most people, the stress level tends to skyrocket, but flying in the middle of the night really takes it all away. I head out for the night with a lot on my mind, but come back relaxed. It's a miracle that I was given this gift, and I pity the rest of my family. I've been wanting to join the Order for a while now, and I hope I will be able to when I come of age. I'd love to put an end to the Dark age, along with my Father's side of the bloodline. Owl's have amazing senses, like sight and smell. And they could come in handy on a mission. The form I take is an all black Eagle-owl, with extremely dark brown eyes. That helps me blend in in the dark, so people can't see me, but also owl's are silent, and could go places undetected."

Panting, Katie finally reached the Owlery doors and smiled. She could hear the familiar sounds of wings beating, and claws against wood. It soothed her fast-beating heart immensely and she heaved the doors open. She realized that she was now out of shape. The run up here really showed her just how much so. Considering she hasn't ran or flew in quite some time, she should have expected it. But alas, it came as a shock to her, and she made a mental note to start running in the mornings from now on.

The smile on her face grew as she walked into the room. Owls of all different colors and sizes fluttered around above her. She let out a chuckle as she realized she could trick people into picking her to deliver a letter. 'That would be interesting.' she thought to herself as she began to pet the Tawny owl nearby. 'If ever I have to get away from Filtch, this would be the perfect hiding spot.' she told herself with a smirk.

A few owls flew down to greet her and she accepted their company with great joy. She always felt at home with them. She opened her arms to give them a place to perch, and two landed softly on her arms, with the third on her head. 'This would look so weird.' was the thought that popped into her head, and immagined someone like Harry randomly popping in to deliver a letter and see her. This picture made her laugh a little, and she gently lowered her arms to a desk and let the two owls hop off.

As the owl on her head flew off to rejoin his friends, she took off her robe. It wasn't that she was hot, for she was a little chilly, but she was hoping for a little flying time to herself. She bent over, taking off her shoes and socks and smiled. She was overjoyed by the fact she was actually going to get to fly. It was hard to find time to be alone, what with classes and homework and everything, so she was overdue. It was always easier to strip down before she changed, because she had a problem with getting tangled in her clothes right after. She hadn't completely gotten the knack of transforming to animal form and back while keeping her clothes on like Professor McGonagal had, but she was learning. Though for now, she was just going to avoid the hassle altogether. She was wearing her undershirt and a pair of shorts when she walked over to the window. Taking in a deep breath, she was about to strip the rest of the way when the door blew open, making her jump out of her skin.

Why should you have this ability?:Nefertiti should have this ability because it has quite a long history of passing through her family. Although these are powerful abilities Nefertiti would never use them for evil, only good.
Rp Sample: Nefertiti sat in the common room her head tilted to the side, watching the fire cackle. She was hearing things, although nobody's mouths were moving. 'Omigosh, he's sooo hawt!' came through her mind. Still, nobody was talking. 'Arrgghh, what's with all the homework?' popped up, nobody's lips were moving. She got up to get her book. It jumped up, gave a feeble wabble then fell. Then an almost impossible thought came to her; 'Am I getting telepathic and telekinesis powers like my mom?'
